A last-pass desk for text
Online Text Tools
Twilight Utilities is for the hour when a draft is almost done. You paste a caption, a heading, a list, or a snippet. You count it, clean it, convert it, or check it, then copy the result into the form or file that actually publishes it. The work stays in this tab. This is not a download site, not a proxy, and not a writing assistant.
Start an evening pass when several clean-ups belong in one box. Use a single tool when the job is already narrow. What an evening pass is maps the usual jobs. About states what this site is not.
Start a pass
These are ordinary finishing jobs, not games. Each one opens the desk with a short checklist, or the one tool that job needs.

These names stay in this browser only. Clearing site data removes them.
Drafts on this device
The last text in a tool can stay here so you can resume. Clearing site data or the button below removes it. Nothing is uploaded.
No tool name matches that filter.

Questions
What is Twilight Utilities?
A last-pass desk for text you already have. You count, clean, convert, or check a draft in this browser, then copy the result. It is not a writing assistant, not a download site, and not a proxy.
Does any text leave this browser?
No. Counting, conversion, and encoding run in the page you already loaded. There is no remote paste service, no account, and no analytics script on these pages.
Is this a download site or a proxy?
No. Twilight Utilities here is a set of page-based tools. It does not offer software installers, and it does not relay or filter other people’s web traffic.
How large can the text be?
Each tool stops at 400 KB and shows a short message if the input is larger. That limit keeps the tab responsive on a phone.
What reading-time assumption does the word counter use?
The reading-time range uses 200–250 words per minute, a common band for silent reading of plain prose. It is an estimate, not a claim about a specific reader.
How does Title Case treat short words?
The case converter capitalizes the first and last words. Short words such as and, of, or in stay lowercase unless they sit in those end positions.
Is Base64 a way to hide secrets?
No. Base64 only changes how bytes are written as text. Anyone can decode the string. Use a real encryption tool when the content must stay secret.
Why do local time and UTC differ?
A Unix timestamp is a count of seconds (or milliseconds) from 1970-01-01 00:00:00 UTC. The same count can print as different clock times once a time zone is applied. The converter labels which clock you asked for.
Does the JSON formatter accept comments?
No. Comments and trailing commas are not JSON. The status line shows the parser message so you can fix the text.
What does the Example button do?
It fills the boxes with a short, everyday sample — a market caption, a shopping list, a New Year timestamp — so you can see the shape of the input. The text stays in this browser. Clear removes it.
Do tools remember what I typed?
The last text in a box can stay in this browser so you can resume or move it to another tool. It is not uploaded. Clear the box, or use “Clear saved drafts” above, to drop it.
